Jeff Mata

Jeff Mata, a Baret Yoshida Black Belt and Poway native, is the owner of Poway Jiu Jitsu. A passionate advocate for equal opportunities in sports for individuals with disabilities, Jeff overcame complete sight loss in 2008 and turned it into an inspiration. His successes in Jiu Jitsu and Judo, including IBJJF tournament victories and representing the USA Para Judo National team, highlight his talent and determination.
